SEO Copywriting Internship Role
The role of the SEO copywriting intern is to support our clients SEO efforts by writing quality content to rank on Google and the other search engines. This is an excellent opportunity for an intern looking to get hands-on experience in the SEO space.Copywriting Responsibilities
- Training
- Rise will train the intern on the following:
- SEO – what is it and strategies to increase organic traffic and ranking
- Keyword research through tools like SEMRush
- How to write with SEO in mind

- Conduct keywords research through SEMRush to identify keywords to target via blog posts or other written content
- Write blog posts that provide value to the user, is relevant to the client, with SEO best practices
- Create citations on directory listing
- Post training
Location
In person in Dedham, MA or hybridCopywriting Requirements
- Junior or seniors only
- Strong written communication skills
- Great communication skills
- Analytical
Bonus Copywriting experience (not required)
- Basic understanding of web hosting platforms (WP, Squarespace, Wix) or basic HTML Compensation
- This is an unpaid internship however Rise will work with your school for credits
- This could turn into a full time marketing position after graduation
